Bass + Guitar Recording Session Musician — Indie/Folk (Long-Term, Recurring Work)

About the Project I'm an independent music artist committing full-time to my career, and I'm building out a consistent release schedule of 2 songs per month. I'm looking for a bass and/or guitar player to become a long-term collaborator on this journey — this isn't a one-off gig, but the start of an ongoing working relationship. I record and produce the lead guitar and most instruments myself. What I need is someone who can lay down bass and/or additional guitar parts that fit the style I'm going for and help fill out the arrangement. What You'll Do: - Record high-quality, live-played (not MIDI) bass and/or guitar parts - Interpret my musical ideas and translate them into strong, tasteful basslines/guitar parts - Contribute your own creative input on arrangement ideas where relevant - Deliver consistently, in line with a 2-songs-per-month release schedule (we'll start by building a backlog of 5–6 songs) What I'm Looking For - Experience in Indie / Folk / Pop styles - Ability to play basslines and/or riffs in the style of artists like Flyte, Billie Marten, Black Sea Dahu, Kylie Dailey, and Nick Mulvey - Live-recorded performances (no MIDI/programmed parts) - Reliability and consistency — someone who can commit to a recurring collaboration, not just a single project As my music starts generating more income, rates will increase accordingly over time Bonus: if you also play cello, let me know — I'm open to working with someone who can cover multiple instruments for me. Ideal Candidate a Musician who's excited to grow with an artist project from the ground up and become a consistent part of the sound.
