Belgian Dutch Speech Contributor

Description: We are seeking native speakers to join a speech data collection project. Contributors will complete both speech recording and speech validation tasks to help improve speech recognition and AI language technologies. Participants will record short prompts displayed on the platform and review recordings submitted by other contributors to ensure quality and accuracy. Target Languages: • Welsh English • Scottish English • Irish English • Galician • Basque • Swiss German • Belgian Dutch Responsibilities: • Record short prompts in your native language or dialect. • Speak naturally and clearly while following project instructions. • Record in a quiet environment with minimal background noise. • Complete approximately 400 speech recordings. • Listen to and review speech recordings submitted by other contributors. • Assess recordings based on project guidelines and quality standards. • Provide accurate and consistent validation decisions. • Complete approximately 800 speech validations. • Help maintain the overall quality and accuracy of the dataset. Requirements: • Native speaker of one of the target languages or dialects listed above. • Reliable internet connection. • Access to a computer with a working microphone. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. • Commitment to maintaining quality standards and providing honest, accurate reviews. Important Information: • All project information is confidential. • Participants must complete tasks themselves and must not share accounts. • A minimum quality score of 90% is expected throughout the project. • Ability to complete both recording and validation tasks is preferred.
