Bilingual AI Developer Build AI Tools & Automations for Mortgage Operations (Remote)

Project Description We're a residential mortgage lending company based in Miami, FL, looking for a Bilingual AI Developer to build and maintain AI-powered tools that support our lending, prospecting, and customer service operations. This is an ongoing, fully remote role for someone who can turn real business processes (loan qualification, lead follow-up, customer inquiries) into working AI-driven solutions Scope of Work Design, build, and maintain AI/automation tools that support internal teams (underwriting, loan origination, prospecting, customer support) Integrate AI models (LLMs, chatbots, or custom ML solutions) with existing business systems and CRMs (e.g., Monday.com) Build internal tools to automate repetitive workflows: lead qualification, document review, follow-up sequencing, reporting Test, monitor, and refine AI tools based on real usage and feedback from internal teams Document your work clearly enough for non-technical team members to understand what each tool does Requirements Bilingual: English and Spanish required — you'll be working with and documenting tools for a bilingual internal team Demonstrable experience building AI-powered applications or automations (LLM integrations, chatbots, ML pipelines, or similar) Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Experience integrating APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) into working products Ability to explain technical work in plain language to non-technical stakeholders Experience in fintech, mortgage, or financial services is a plus but not required Compensation $20/hour, paid through Upwork Fully remote, ongoing hourly contract How to Apply Please apply with a short introduction (in both English and Spanish) of your relevant AI/development experience, along with 1–2 examples of AI tools or automations you've built.
