Book Formatter for Amazon KDP & IngramSpark

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented book formatter/typesetter to prepare our manuscript for publication on Amazon KDP and IngramSpark (both print and digital formats). ​The ideal candidate has a strong command of Adobe InDesign and a proven track record of producing error-free, publication-ready files that pass platform reviews on the first try without formatting rejections. ​Project Scope & Deliverables: •⁠ ⁠​Print Typesetting (Paperback & Hardcover): •⁠ ⁠​Professional interior layout and typography design. •⁠ ⁠​Precise mirror margins, gutter width calculations for binding, and strict bleed verification. •⁠ ⁠​Thorough orphan and widow control, running headers, footers, and clean page numbering. •⁠ ⁠​eBook Formatting (ePub): •⁠ ⁠​Validated, clean ePub file compatible with major e-readers. •⁠ ⁠​Fully clickable Table of Contents (ToC) and correct heading hierarchy. ​Required Qualifications: •⁠ ⁠​Proven experience formatting books for both KDP and IngramSpark. •⁠ ⁠​Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign (no automated conversion tools for print layouts). •⁠ ⁠​Deep understanding of industry publishing standards (trim sizes, gutter spacing, fonts, resolution). •⁠ ⁠​Portfolio or samples of previous interior book formatting work. ​To Apply, Please Provide: •⁠ ⁠​A brief overview of your experience with KDP and IngramSpark formatting. •⁠ ⁠​Links to samples or a portfolio showing your interior typesetting work. •⁠ ⁠​Your estimated flat-rate or hourly rate for this project, along with your estimated turnaround time.
