About the Role We are looking for a Book Marketing, Promotions & Review Growth Specialist to increase the visibility, readership, legitimate reviews and sales of our growing book catalogue. This is a growth role rather than a general social-media position. You will develop, execute and measure strategies across Amazon, reader communities, ARC campaigns, email, influencers, social media and other book-discovery channels. Responsibilities Amazon Growth Research competitors, categories and keywords. Analyse book positioning and pricing. Recommend improvements to Amazon listings. Monitor sales, rankings, reviews and conversion. Identify opportunities for cross-selling between books. Assist with Amazon Ads. Identify seasonal and category-specific opportunities. Review Growth Build systematic and ethical strategies for generating genuine reader reviews through: ARC campaigns Advance reader teams Book reviewers Book bloggers Reader communities Email subscribers Goodreads Micro-influencers Existing customers and audiences Maintain a structured reviewer database and follow-up system. All strategies must comply with Amazon and retailer review policies. Book Launches Create repeatable launch systems covering: Pre-launch → ARC campaign → launch → promotion → review follow-up → advertising → optimisation. Develop individual strategies based on the audience and commercial potential of each book. Promotions Research, negotiate and execute opportunities involving: Book promotion websites Book bloggers Influencers Podcasts Newsletters Reader groups Parenting/education communities where relevant Giveaways Partnerships Seasonal promotions Cross-promotions Social Media Develop promotional content for relevant channels. Social media should support book discovery and sales rather than simply increase follower numbers. Email Marketing Build reader email lists. Develop lead magnets where appropriate. Create launch sequences. Promote new releases. Cross-promote related titles. Segment audiences by interests. Monitor open, click and conversion performance. Analytics Track: Book sales Amazon rankings Review growth ARC-to-review conversion Advertising expenditure ACOS/ROAS where applicable Email subscribers Campaign conversion Promotional costs Revenue attributable to campaigns Provide a concise weekly report: What we did → what happened → what worked → what failed → what we should test next. Grown legitimate Amazon reviews. Managed ARC campaigns. Launched books. Managed Amazon advertising. Built reader communities or email lists. Worked with authors, publishers or publishing agencies. What We Do Not Want This is not a position for someone whose primary strategy is: Posting generic social-media content Producing large quantities of Canva graphics Buying followers Buying reviews Review-exchange schemes Measuring success primarily through likes or impressions We are interested in measurable reader acquisition, reviews and sales. Experience with ARC campaigns. Experience growing legitimate reviews. Marketing platforms and tools you use. Mandatory Application Question Imagine you inherit an established Amazon book with: 15 reviews Good professional design Modest monthly sales Very little external marketing You have 90 days. Explain exactly how you would increase its legitimate reviews and sales, what you would do during the first 30 days, and which numbers you would use to determine whether your strategy was working. Generic answers will not be sufficient.
