Book PR & Media Outreach Specialist

Seeking an experienced book PR and media outreach specialist to support an established author, founder, podcast host, and content creator with 500K+ followers across social media. The author has been featured in Newsweek twice and has a traditionally published nonfiction book releasing in January 2027. We are looking for someone who can help build and execute a strong PR campaign leading up to and surrounding the book launch. The primary focus will include researching, pitching, and securing earned media opportunities, including podcasts, television, print and digital media, journalists, wellness and lifestyle publications, fitness and sobriety platforms, book-related media, and other high-quality opportunities relevant to the author's story and expertise. We are especially interested in someone who understands author publicity and nonfiction book launches and knows how to turn an author's existing platform, personal story, expertise, and upcoming book into compelling media pitches. Responsibilities may include developing targeted media lists, identifying journalists and producers, writing customized pitches, conducting outreach, following up, coordinating opportunities, and maintaining an organized PR pipeline.
