Bookkeeper - Controller

As the Bookkeeper - Controller for BRUT Lighting, LLC, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial operations of our distribution and retrofit divisions. You will be responsible for managing financial activities and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - **Financial Management:** Oversee monthly financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the distribution and contractor services divisions. - **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements. - **Analysis:** Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes. - **Cost Control:** Implement cost control measures and financial best practices to optimize operational efficiency. - **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and project management, to support their financial needs and objectives. - **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient financial systems and procedures. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on distribution and contractor services. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting. - Proficiency in using financial software and tools, specifically Quickbooks. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
