About Us We are a Medical Services Organization supporting a growing network of neurosurgery, spine, and concierge medicine providers across California. We handle the operational, financial, and revenue-cycle backbone that lets our provider partners focus on patient care. As we scale, we're looking for a detail-driven bilingual Bookkeeper to keep our financial records accurate, timely, and audit-ready. Position Summary The Bookkeeper is responsible for the day-to-day financial recordkeeping of the organization and its affiliated practices. Working across English and Spanish, this role manages accounts payable and receivable, reconciles accounts, supports payroll, and produces clean financial data that leadership relies on to make decisions. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in a ledger and in a conversation with a Spanish-speaking vendor, provider, or staff member. Key Responsibilities - Maintain the general ledger and record daily financial transactions accurately and on schedule. - Manage accounts payable: process invoices, verify approvals, schedule payments, and track vendor accounts. - Manage accounts receivable: post payments, monitor outstanding balances, and coordinate with the billing/RCM team on posted deposits and remittances. - Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies. - Support payroll processing, including timekeeping review, deductions, and coordination with payroll providers. - Prepare and maintain financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow summaries) for management review. - Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and supporting schedules. - Track expenses by practice and provider entity, supporting multi-entity and multi-TIN accounting. - Organize and maintain financial documentation for audits, tax preparation, and compliance. - Communicate with Spanish- and English-speaking vendors, providers, and internal staff on billing, payment, and account matters. - Support the finance team with ad hoc reporting, data cleanup, and process improvement. Qualifications - Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken). - 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience. - Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and strong Excel/spreadsheet skills. - Solid understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger principles. - High attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion with confidential financial information. - Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple entities or accounts.
