Brand Identity Designer for New Editorial Podcast & Media Brand We’re looking for an exceptional brand identity designer to create the visual identity for Subee Syed, a new interview-led podcast and media platform. Subee previously hosted Put Some Ghee On It and is now launching a new show under her own name. The show explores current events through the lens of people. Rather than focusing on careers or achievements, conversations center on identity, relationships, culture, ambition, family, personal growth, and the defining moments that shape a life. Our first slate of guests includes well-known public figures, but the conversations will intentionally move beyond their professional accomplishments to reveal the person behind them. Think Emma Grede, The Diary of a CEO, The Interview (New York Times), and Modern Love, viewed through a refined editorial lens. Creative Direction We’re looking for a visual identity that feels timeless, calm, intelligent, and premium. The references attached capture the overall atmosphere we’re drawn to: Editorial rather than corporate Minimal without feeling cold Warm natural tones Elevated typography Luxury hospitality Fashion publishing Beautiful restraint Sophisticated photography direction Inspirational brands include Aman, Aimé Leon Dore, Phlur, Kinfolk, Cereal Magazine, and Monocle. The goal is to build a brand that feels equally at home interviewing a CEO, an artist, an athlete, or a cultural figure. Scope We’re looking for someone to develop: Complete visual identity Logo system Typography Color palette Podcast artwork Social templates YouTube artwork Thumbnail direction Brand guidelines Art direction / moodboard Who We’re Looking For You have experience designing brands within editorial, fashion, hospitality, luxury consumer products, media, or publishing. More than technical skill, we’re looking for someone with exceptional taste and a strong understanding of restraint. If your portfolio demonstrates thoughtful, timeless design rather than trend-driven aesthetics, we’d love to hear from you. To Apply Please include: Portfolio 2–3 projects most relevant to this aesthetic Estimated timeline Everything in the identity should support that idea. It signals that this isn’t another celebrity interview show—it’s about revealing the human being behind the public persona. That distinction is what should inform every design decision, from typography to photography to
