I’m looking for an experienced brand positioning and messaging strategist who is also a strong copywriter to help prepare a new consumer experience brand for market validation. The brand is a new live experience created primarily for Christian women, centered around true personal stories, meaningful conversation, and genuine human connection. The brand is not starting from scratch. We already have the name, target audience, brand strategy, visual direction, experience concept, and initial language guidelines in place. I’ve made meaningful investments in developing the brand and have worked with outside talent along the way. As the concept has evolved, I’ve gained greater clarity around what I need for this next phase. I’m looking for someone who can bring strong strategic thinking and writing ability to the work, while building thoughtfully on what has already been developed. The goal is to identify the most compelling and distinctive positioning for Dearly and translate it into customer-facing language we can test in the market. Scope The engagement will include: Review and pressure-test the existing brand strategy, positioning, audience assumptions, and language guidelines. Refine the core positioning, value proposition, messaging hierarchy, and larger brand belief or idea the brand can credibly stand for. Develop 3–4 distinct messaging/campaign angles to test, including the customer insight or hypothesis behind each and a recommended testing sequence. Develop/refine customer interview questions to better understand motivations, natural language, objections, perceived value, and purchase intent. Write complete landing/waitlist page copy, including headline, supporting sections, and CTAs. Develop platform-ready launch copy, including Instagram bio, Facebook bio/About description, short brand/event description, and 4–6 initial Instagram/Facebook posts. Write 3–5 Meta ad copy variations and CTA options aligned with the messaging angles being tested. Develop a validation framework that helps distinguish attention, engagement, waitlist interest, and meaningful purchase intent, including recommended signals/benchmarks; review the messaging package before launch and provide two revision rounds on core positioning and primary copy. Who I’m Looking For: I’d love to work with someone with strong experience in brand positioning, messaging strategy, consumer insight/psychology, campaign development, and copywriting. Experience with consumer, lifestyle, hospitality, entertainment, live experience, community, or mission-driven brands would be especially relevant. Ideally, you are comfortable moving from: Customer insight → positioning → campaign concept → customer-facing copy. To Apply Please share: A brief overview of your relevant positioning and messaging experience. 2–3 examples of customer-facing copy you personally wrote, preferably positioning, campaign, landing-page, or advertising work. Short Writing Sample: Because writing and strategic thinking are particularly important for this project, I’d also appreciate a brief sample to help me get a feel for your approach. Dearly brings Christian women together to hear true personal stories from other women and engage in thoughtfully guided, meaningful conversation. Our target woman may already have friends, family, church, and community. We are not approaching her from the assumption that she is lonely or lacks relationships. Please write one headline and approximately 40–60 words of customer-facing copy. Engagement: This is a project-based consulting engagement. Please include your proposed total project fee for the scope described above.
