Build an AI Customer Intelligence Platform for E-commerce Brands (Full-Stack Engineer)

Floh is an AI intelligence product for ecommerce brands. Floh connects data sources such as Shopify, reviews, customer feedback, advertising, comments, and email platforms, then turns that information into a trusted knowledge base for teams to ask questions, identify patterns, and create evidence-based marketing briefs. Floh is being built from the ground up for ambitious ecommerce teams. This is a chance to take ownership and shape the product’s technical foundation as it reaches its first customers and grows. We are looking for builders, problem solvers, and high-performance people who want to help build a product with real ambition. The person joining as Main Developer will be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining Floh’s user-facing application, backend services, data systems, integrations, and AI workflows. This is a role for someone who can execute quickly, solve problems independently, and use modern development tools, including AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, to increase speed, quality, and productivity. The Role: The Main Developer is responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining Floh’s software product. This role is not limited to writing code. The Main Developer must understand business problems, propose technical solutions, move fast, and deliver reliable systems that improve product usefulness, performance, and scalability. The person in this role will work closely with the founder, product, and marketing stakeholders to identify customer needs, build solutions, and continuously improve Floh. We need someone proactive, organized, and execution focused. The right candidate should be able to take a problem, understand the objective, use the best tools available, and deliver a working solution quickly. ❖ Software Development ➢ Develop, test, and maintain Floh’s web application, backend services, data pipelines, and internal systems. ➢ Build scalable and reliable software solutions that support Floh’s growth. ➢ Identify, debug, and solve technical issues efficiently. ➢ Improve platform performance, stability, and scalability. ➢ Create integrations between Floh and the tools, platforms, and data sources used by ecommerce brands. ➢ Maintain clean, secure, and well structured code. ❖ AI Assisted Development ➢ Use AI development tools such as Codex and other modern coding assistants to increase development speed and quality. ➢ Work efficiently with AI tools to generate, test, improve, and refactor code. ➢ Use AI to accelerate technical research, debugging, documentation, and implementation. ➢ Stay updated with new AI tools, development workflows, and technologies that can improve Floh’s product execution. ➢ Apply AI responsibly while maintaining strong judgment, code quality, and security standards. ❖ Technical Collaboration ➢ Work closely with the founder, product, and marketing stakeholders. ➢ Understand business needs and translate them into practical technical solutions. ➢ Participate in planning and development meetings. ➢ Communicate clearly about technical progress, blockers, timelines, and solutions. ➢ Ensure technical work is aligned with Floh’s product priorities and customer impact. ❖ Execution & Problem Solving ➢ Move fast from problem identification to solution delivery. ➢ Prioritize practical execution over unnecessary complexity. ➢ Take ownership of technical problems until they are solved. ➢ Propose improvements to systems, workflows, and product capabilities. ➢ Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency. ➢ Deliver high quality development projects on time. ❖ Technology & Systems ➢ Build reliable and scalable software solutions. ➢ Improve product efficiency through technology, automation, and better systems. ➢ Support Floh’s ecommerce customers with strong technical execution. ➢ Reduce manual work through tools, integrations, and automations. ➢ Help Floh move faster by using modern development workflows and AI tools. ➢ Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance. ❖ Experience & Technical Skills ➢ Minimum 2 years of experience in software development. ➢ Strong knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and web technologies. ➢ Experience working with AI development tools such as Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools. ➢ Ability to execute quickly and deliver working solutions with limited supervision. ➢ Strong problem solving and analytical mindset. ➢ Interest in ecommerce, customer data, AI products, automation, and technology-driven growth. ❖ Communication & Work Style ➢ B2 English level or higher. ➢ Spanish and English communication skills. ➢ Ability to work independently and within a team. ➢ Strong organizational and communication skills. ➢ Ability to communicate clearly about technical progress, blockers, timelines, and solutions. ❖ Compensation & Growth ➢ This is a full time position with the expectation of 30-40hrs/week ➢ Salary between $24,000 and $30,000 per year, depending on experience and profile. ➢ Opportunity for salary bonus's that are performance based. ➢ High performance environment. ➢ Direct impact on a product being built from the ground up. ➢ Long term collaboration opportunities. ➢ Opportunity to work with modern tools, AI workflows, ecommerce data, and scalable product systems. ➢ Opportunity to grow with Floh as it reaches its first customers and scales. ❖ Work Setup ➢ Powerful computer. ➢ External monitor. ➢ Strong and stable internet connection. ➢ Distraction free workspace. ❖ Ideal Candidate ➢ We are looking for a developer who is proactive, fast, practical, and reliable. ➢ The ideal candidate does not wait for perfect instructions to move forward. ➢ This person asks good questions, understands the business objective, uses the best tools available, and delivers solutions quickly. ➢ This role is ideal for someone who wants to work in a demanding, fast-moving environment where technology has a direct impact on the product and its customers.
