Business Analyst - Retail/Fashion

Business Analyst – Retail /Fashion Freelance / Contract We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong PLM domain knowledge, preferably in Retail/Fashion/Apparel, to lead business requirement workshops, CRPs (Conference Room Pilots), process analysis and functional requirement definition. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead business workshops with stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, requirements and priorities. 2. Conduct CRPs / solution walkthroughs to validate PLM capabilities against business scenarios and requirements. 3. Document As-Is and To-Be processes, identify gaps and drive agreement on future-state processes. 4. Translate business needs into BRDs, functional requirements, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria. 5. Facilitate Fit-Gap Analysis and work with stakeholders to identify practical PLM solutions. 6. Provide business analysis support across PLM processes such as Product/Style, Season, Materials, Colors, BOM, Specifications, Costing, Sourcing, Suppliers, Samples and Workflows. 7. Support PLM migration and transformation by defining business data requirements, mapping, validation and reconciliation rules. 8. Define and support SIT/UAT, including test scenarios, business validation, defect analysis and sign-off. 9. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical/PLM teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and delivered. 10. Support go-live, cutover, hypercare and business adoption. Required Experience 1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in PLM or Product Development environments. 2. Strong experience in facilitating workshops and leading CRPs. 3. Good understanding of Retail/Fashion/Apparel product lifecycle processes. 4. Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, Fit-Gap Analysis and functional documentation. 5. Exposure to PLM implementation, migration, upgrade or transformation projects. 6. Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and stakeholder management skills. 7. Ability to work independently with business users, customers and global technology teams.
