Business & Corporate Law Specialist

We are a healthcare services company seeking a licensed U.S. attorney with experience in employment law and trade-secret/unfair-competition matters to advise on a recent senior-employee departure. We need counsel to: Review our employment agreement (including confidentiality, conflict-of-interest, and any non-solicitation provisions) and advise on enforceability and our options. Advise on a situation involving a former executive who appears to have formed a competing business during their employment. Determine which state's law governs, given a multi-state footprint (employee and business entity in different states than the company). Advise on whether a cease-and-desist / preservation letter is warranted, and draft it if so. Advise on protection of confidential business information and client relationships going forward. Ideal candidate: Licensed and in good standing in California and/or FL; multi-state or willing to co-counsel. Demonstrable experience in employment law, trade secrets, non-competes, and unfair competition. Available for a prompt initial consultation (this is time-sensitive) and ongoing advice as needed.
