Business Credit Readiness & Funding Documentation Specialist
Worldwide
We are seeking an experienced Business Credit Readiness & Funding Documentation Specialist to assess business-credit readiness, organize lender-ready documentation, research published eligibility requirements, and maintain an accurate application pipeline. This role is focused on legitimate business formation, financial-document readiness, lender research, and application support. It does not include consumer credit repair, personal credit disputes, promises to increase credit scores, fabricated documentation, or guaranteed funding or approval. Responsibilities: • Audit business entity and profile consistency across Secretary of State records, EIN documentation, licenses, NAICS/SIC classifications, business address, phone, domain, and professional email • Review business banking and financial-document readiness, including bank statements, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash-flow summaries, bookkeeping records, and supporting schedules • Review available business credit records and identify documentation or consistency gaps that the business can legitimately correct • Research published lender, vendor, and business-credit product eligibility requirements • Build and maintain a lender/vendor eligibility matrix showing requirements, documentation, likely fit, open questions, and next steps • Create organized application-readiness packages and checklists for review • Track application status, document requests, deadlines, responses, and adverse-action reasons • Maintain a secure document index and follow-up tracker • Provide concise weekly updates covering completed work, missing documents, risks, decisions needed, and next actions • Prepare drafts and research for approval, but do not submit applications, make representations, or transmit sensitive information without authorization Required experience: • Demonstrated experience with U.S. business formation, business banking, business-credit readiness, lender documentation, or commercial funding operations • Strong financial-document review and business research skills • Ability to distinguish published eligibility criteria from assumptions or sales claims • Excellent written English, organization, spreadsheet skills, discretion, and attention to detail • Experience handling confidential business and financial information securely • Familiarity with tools and sources such as Secretary of State databases, IRS EIN records, Dun & Bradstreet, Experian Business, Equifax Business, Google Sheets, Excel, and document-management systems Strict boundaries: • No consumer credit repair or personal credit-report disputes • No promises of score increases, credit limits, funding amounts, or approvals • No false, altered, misleading, or fabricated documents or applications • No legal, tax, or financial advice • No applications or external submissions without explicit approval When applying, answer: 1. Walk us through your business-credit readiness audit from entity verification through application package preparation. 2. Which business-credit bureaus, lender-research sources, and documentation systems have you used? 3. Provide a fully redacted example of an eligibility matrix, document checklist, or application tracker you built. 4. Describe a case where you identified a readiness gap that could have caused a denial or delay. What did you change? 5. How do you communicate uncertainty when approval depends on a lender’s underwriting?
