Business Funding & Grant Application Specialist

I'm seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Funding & Grant Application Specialist to identify and apply for funding opportunities for two consumer brands in the wellness and e-commerce space. The objective is to secure as much non-dilutive funding and business incentives as possible with minimal involvement from the business owner. This is an ongoing monthly engagement. Responsibilities Your responsibilities include: Research funding opportunities on an ongoing basis. Identify opportunities that require little to no owner involvement. Complete and submit applications on my behalf using existing business information. Track deadlines and submission requirements. Maintain a database of all funding opportunities. Follow up on submitted applications. Maintain reusable company information for future applications. Provide a monthly report summarizing all applications submitted and funding opportunities identified. Funding Opportunities to Pursue Apply only for opportunities that can be completed without interviews, presentations, videos, or extensive founder participation. Examples include: Small Business Grants Women-Owned Business Grants Minority-Owned Business Grants Corporate Grant Programs Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Grants E-commerce Grants Beauty & Wellness Grants Manufacturing Incentives Supplier Diversity Programs Marketing Grants Business Development Incentives Software Credits Cloud Credits Advertising Credits (Google, Meta, Shopify, Microsoft, etc.) Business Service Credits Free Business Resources State and Local Incentive Programs Any other non-dilutive funding or cost-saving programs that require minimal owner involvement Do NOT Pursue Do not apply for opportunities requiring: Founder interviews Live presentations Pitch competitions Video submissions Investor meetings Networking events In-person attendance Crowdfunding campaigns Venture Capital Angel Investment Accelerator programs requiring active founder participation Monthly Deliverables Each month you will: Research at least 100 funding opportunities. Identify at least 25 qualified opportunities. Submit applications for all qualified opportunities that meet the criteria above. Maintain a complete application tracker. Track deadlines and award notifications. Maintain a library of reusable application materials. Deliver a monthly report of: Opportunities researched Applications submitted Awards received Pending applications Upcoming deadlines Required Skills Grant research Grant writing Business funding research Excellent written English Strong organizational skills Attention to detail Experience with U.S. small business funding Experience finding grants and incentives for for-profit businesses Ability to work independently Preferred Experience Experience working with: E-commerce brands Consumer packaged goods (CPG) Wellness or supplement companies Shopify businesses Women-owned businesses Minority-owned businesses Success Metrics Success will be measured by: Number of qualified funding opportunities identified Number of complete applications submitted Quality and accuracy of applications Organization and tracking Total non-dilutive funding and business incentives secured This is intended to be a long-term role. The goal is to build a continuous funding pipeline while requiring as little involvement from the business owner as possible.
