Sr Business Intelligence Analyst

We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior. BI/Data Analyst to develop, structure, and configure data sets and transform them into insights, dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analysis. The ideal candidate will be a professional in insightful storytelling and visualization – understanding performance and benchmarks for all aspects of the business. The ability to develop and maintain high-quality data sets by leveraging your proficiency in SQL, database design, and report creation is a must. This position will regularly build and refine dashboards based on rapidly changing business needs and requires the ability to create analysis that leverages appropriate visualization and comfort presenting to diverse audiences. In this role, you will: · Work collaboratively with other business functions and deliver on data-related needs of both internal stakeholders and outside parties · Learn and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) of the business and establish reporting mechanisms to track and deliver on them · Become an expert on the data available at EHE and how to best leverage it for reporting and insights · Gather requirements and organize data points to build and maintain data sets · Transform data into insights in the form of dashboards and reports · Generate data visualizations to support business operations · Partner with internal stakeholders to understand goals and objectives that can be further advanced through technical analytical support · Work with data analytics tooling to develop queries and create data visualizations that synthesize trends · Present findings to various audiences of all different levels · Innovate new and improved capabilities within our data systems What this role requires: · Bachelor’s degree (or relevant work experience) and at least two years of experience in a BI analyst role · Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with an ability to frame problems and work towards solutions · Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to navigate through and deliver on complex and time-sensitive business needs · At least two years of proficiency with analytical tools and languages supporting data analysis, reporting and visualization · Experience with developing insights using financial and operational data · SQL knowledge required (CTEs, window functions, etc.) · Demonstrated experience and proficiency in popular Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools and software (preferably AWS Quicksight) · Experience using data analysis and modeling functions in Microsoft Excel (e.g. PowerQuery, advanced data analysis functions) · Ability to effectively tell stories with data and present findings to a non-technical audience · Ability to interpret data to help in strategic decision making
