Business Records Quality Assurance Analyst – Remote USA

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Business Records Quality Assurance Analyst to help ensure the accuracy and completeness of business information maintained in our records. The role involves reviewing assigned business profiles, contacting businesses when verification is required, and documenting confirmed information. You will help identify discrepancies and make sure our records contain current and reliable business details. This position is strictly focused on information accuracy and record verification. It does not involve selling, telemarketing, advertising, lead generation, or promotional outreach. Responsibilities Review assigned business records for missing, outdated, or inconsistent information. Contact businesses by phone when direct verification is required. Confirm details such as company name, physical address, ZIP code, phone number, hours of operation, and other assigned information. Compare newly verified information with existing records. Clearly document confirmed information and any required corrections. Follow the project's verification guidelines and quality standards. Complete each phone verification professionally, generally within 3–5 minutes. Provide a concise result after each completed record. Maintain accurate and organized records throughout the assignment. Qualifications Must currently reside in the United States. Strong spoken English and professional telephone communication. Excellent attention to detail and ability to distinguish accurate information from outdated records. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, online forms, or basic data-entry systems. Reliable internet connection and mobile phone service. The initial verification assignment must be completed using a personal mobile phone number. Google Voice, VoIP, TextNow, and other virtual phone numbers are not accepted. Able to follow detailed instructions without constant supervision. Previous experience in quality assurance, data entry, research, administrative support, or business verification is helpful but not required. How the Project Works You will first complete a short sample assignment so we can evaluate accuracy, communication, and attention to detail. Approved freelancers will then receive a regular batch of business records for review. Most assignments involve approximately 2–4 verification calls per day, with typical daily work requiring around 1–2 hours.
