Business and AI Operations Ongoing Support
Worldwide
Overview We're a small, fast-moving company looking for a technical generalist to work with us on an ongoing basis. This isn't a single-project gig — we have a steady stream of work spanning internal application development, tooling, data analysis, and operational process improvement, and we want one capable person who can take a problem from "here's the mess" to "here's the working thing." The ideal person is comfortable being handed an ambiguous business problem, figuring out what actually needs to be built, and then building it. You should be equally at home writing code, digging through a messy dataset, and talking through a workflow with a non-technical stakeholder. Expect roughly 10–25 hours per week to start, with flexibility in both directions. We work asynchronously and care about outcomes, not hours logged. What You'll Work On The work rotates across a few recurring categories: Cloud applications — building and deploying internal web applications, APIs, and services. Small-to-medium scope, built to actually be used day to day rather than demoed once. Internal tools & automation — dashboards, admin interfaces, scripts, and integrations that remove manual work from our operations. Connecting third-party APIs and vendor data feeds into systems we control. Data analysis — cleaning, validating, and analyzing datasets from multiple sources; identifying quality problems; building repeatable pipelines instead of one-off spreadsheets; presenting findings clearly to decision-makers. Business operations — mapping and improving processes, standing up reporting, evaluating vendors and tools, and generally making the operational side of the business run with less friction. Required -Real experience working with data: ingesting from APIs and files, cleaning inconsistent inputs, validating quality, and producing analysis someone can act on -Proven business operations experience — you've owned or meaningfully improved operational processes at a real company, not just written code to spec -The judgment to push back when the requested solution isn't the right one, and the communication skills to explain why -Clear written English and reliable async communication -Mandatory experience building models, tooling, or applications within claude or other AI systems Please include: A short note on why you're a fit — skip the generic pitch, tell us what you'd want to know before quoting this kind of work Two or three examples of things you've built or analyses you've delivered, with a sentence on the business outcome each one produced Your availability and typical weekly hours
