I'm buying an automated trading system outright. I am not looking for a developer to build one — I want a system that already exists and already has a live, verifiable track record. WHO I'M LOOKING FOR Former institutional, prop, or professional traders — equities, futures, or FX — who built their own automated system and are open to selling it. Independent quants with a real live record are equally welcome. If you're still running it profitably and don't want to give it up, I'm also open to an exclusive license, so it's still worth a conversation. WHAT I'M BUYING - Full source code. Python preferred; MQL4/5, C++, or NinjaScript considered. No compiled-only EAs or DLLs. - Complete IP assignment — I own it, you stop running and reselling it. - 30 days of support after handoff, plus one live walkthrough session. WHAT YOU NEED TO SHOW - 12+ months of live, real-money results, verifiable through read-only broker access (IBKR PortfolioAnalyst, Myfxbook, FXBlue, or equivalent). Backtests and screenshots alone won't get a reply. - Max drawdown, worst month, Sharpe, total trade count, and average trade net of commission and slippage. - Which markets, timeframes, and market conditions it was built for — and what it does when those conditions change. - A written statement that you own the code outright and that it isn't derived from an employer's or prop firm's property. HOW IT WORKS 1. You send the track record and a summary of the approach. No code yet. 2. Mutual NDA, then code review. 3. 30–60 day forward test — I run it on a paper or small live account alongside your live signals to confirm the record matches reality. 4. Purchase completes on IP assignment and handoff. Payment is 30% on code delivery, 40% after the forward test, 30% on handoff. What I actually pay depends on the length and quality of the live track record — a multi-year verified record earns the top of that range, a 12-month one won't.
