CAD Designer Needed to Reverse Engineer a Functional Snap-Fit Plastic Part
Worldwide
Please review the attached engineering drawing before applying. I'm looking for an experienced CAD designer to recreate a functional snap-fit plastic clip from the attached drawing. This is not just a cosmetic model—the part must function correctly and be suitable for 3D printed prototyping. Deliverables: Parametric CAD file (Fusion 360 preferred) STEP file STL file The most important part of this project is the spring arms and locking mechanism. The clip must snap onto the bottle spout, lock securely, and release properly when the tabs are squeezed. Experience with functional plastic parts, snap-fit designs, and reverse engineering from engineering drawings is highly preferred. One or two minor revisions may be needed after the first prototype is printed to fine-tune the fit and function. Please include examples of similar work with your proposal.
