CAD Engineer / Product Designer Needed for Wooden Toy Products

## CAD Product Designer / Engineer for Wooden Toy Business – Long-Term ### About the Project I am building a children's wooden toy brand called **Grandpa’s Toy House** and I am looking for an experienced **CAD Product Designer / Engineer** for a long-term collaboration. I will be developing multiple wooden toy products, and I need someone who can turn my **ideas, sketches, reference images and concepts into professional, manufacturing-ready CAD designs**. ### What You Will Do * Create accurate 3D CAD models of wooden toys * Develop products from sketches, concepts or reference images * Design individual components and complete assemblies * Create appropriate dimensions, proportions and tolerances * Consider child safety while designing * Use rounded/smooth edges and safe construction methods * Design products specifically for wooden manufacturing * Create assembly methods and component connections where required * Make revisions based on my feedback and manufacturer feedback * Prepare professional files that can be shared directly with manufacturers ### Required Deliverables For finalized products, I may need: * 3D CAD model * STEP files * STL files where required * 2D technical drawings with dimensions * Individual component files * Assembly/exploded views where required * Manufacturing specifications ### Skills Required * CAD / 3D Modeling * Product Design * Industrial Design * Mechanical/Product Engineering * SolidWorks or Fusion 360 * Technical Drawing * Manufacturing Design * Product Development ### Important Experience Experience with **wooden toys, Montessori toys, children's products, educational toys or similar physical products** is highly preferred. Please understand that these products are intended for children, so **safety, durability and manufacturability are extremely important**. ### Long-Term Opportunity This is not a one-time project. I plan to develop **multiple products over the coming months**, so I am looking for someone reliable who can work with me on an ongoing basis.
