CAD Jewellery Designer

We are looking for a CAD jewellery designer to turn our 2D designs into production-ready 3D files and technical drawings. About the project We are launching a small jewellery brand. The first collection is 7 pieces, produced in small batches with high quality standards. Some pieces include small set stones (semi-precious, smoked quartz type). We already have the designs. What we need is someone to translate them into files a factory can actually work from. The collection 4 rings 2 bracelets 1 pair of earrings We will provide clean design boards for each piece: reference images, front/side/top views, intended dimensions, target ring sizes, stone placement and finish notes. You will not be designing from scratch — you are translating our designs faithfully into CAD. What we need from you For each piece: - One production-ready 3D model, STL for the factory, plus the editable native file (.3dm preferred, or STEP) so the model can be adjusted later. One model per design. - Technical drawing (PDF), dimensioned orthographic views with all key measurements: overall dimensions, band and wall thickness, inner diameter, stone seat dimensions and placement, tolerances where relevant. How we want to work We start with one ring as a paid test piece. This is a real deliverable, not a free trial: you deliver the 3D model and the technical drawing for that one ring. If we are happy with the file quality and the way we work together, we will award the remaining 6 pieces to you straight away as a second contract, and we will agree terms for those at that point. We would rather have this done properly than fast, tell us the timeline that lets you do good work. Requirements - Proven jewellery CAD experience, shown through your portfolio - Working in Rhino (ideally with Matrix or RhinoGold), SolidWorks or Fusion 360 - Good written English and clear communication, we will send feedback and need revisions handled cleanly - 1 round of revisions included per piece When you apply, please send - Your portfolio, jewellery work, ideally including rings and bracelets. - At least one technical drawing you have produced for manufacturing. This matters more to us than renders. We will only review applications that include portfolio work.
