CAD Refinement for 3D Printing

I have a set of rough 3D mesh reference models (provided in GLB/OBJ format) for a multi-part modular character design. I need an experienced CAD professional to refine these into clean, print-ready files suitable for FDM desktop 3D printing. The project involves: Receiving rough mesh reference models (delivered one part at a time) Rebuilding or refining each part into a clean, watertight, print-ready geometry Ensuring all parts have appropriate wall thickness, no non-manifold edges, and correct tolerances for assembly Designing hollow interiors with internal channels sized to accommodate thin metal rods or light wiring (~2–3mm diameter) Designing modular peg/pin connection joints between parts so the assembly can be posed and disassembled Maintaining the organic surface character of the reference meshes Deliverables per part: STEP file (editable CAD) STL or 3MF (print-ready) Brief note on any design decisions made for printability Ideal candidate: Strong experience with organic/freeform CAD (Fusion 360, ZBrush-to-CAD pipelines, or similar) Familiar with FDM printing constraints — supports, overhangs, wall thickness Experience with articulated/jointed toy or prop design a strong plus Good communicator — this is an iterative project with multiple parts Project scope: Starting with 2 pilot parts to assess fit and quality, with the full set to follow if the pilot is successful.
