CPA / Tax Preparer Needed for Ongoing Accounting Support

We're looking for a CPA or experienced Tax Preparer to support our company on an ongoing basis. This isn't a one-off tax season gig, we need someone reliable who can be part of our regular workflow. What you'll be doing: Preparing and reviewing federal and state tax filings Supporting monthly/quarterly close and reconciliation Advising on tax strategy and compliance issues as they come up Working alongside our internal finance team on reporting and filings Flagging risks or savings opportunities proactively, not just filing what's handed to you What we're looking for: Active CPA license or equivalent tax prep credentials Several years of hands-on experience with business tax filings (not just individual returns) Comfortable working independently and communicating clearly with a remote team Experience with cannabis industry tax rules (280E) is a strong plus, but not required Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or ERP systems like ERPNext is a bonus Details: Ongoing, part-time to start with room to grow based on fit Remote Please include relevant experience with business/corporate tax filings in your proposal, not just a general resume If you've worked with multi-entity businesses or have experience navigating industry-specific tax complexity, mention it. We're looking for someone who can actually own this, not just process forms.
