CPA for Canadian Real Estate and Corporate Tax

We are seeking a CPA with strong expertise in Canadian real estate and corporate tax for a second-opinion engagement. The role involves reviewing and advising on a tax matter related to real estate and corporate structure. US-based CPAs are welcome to apply. This is a part-time, short-term project with a flexible schedule. I need an experienced advisor to review the structure and financials and advise on the most tax-efficient way to recognize and extract rental profit to a holdco — including the interplay between intercompany loans, shareholder distributions, dividends vs. capital gains treatment, and leaving income sheltered by CCA. I'll provide the full background and 2025 financial statements (statements, trial balance, adjusting entries) once we connect. You should have: CPA designation (Canadian, or US with strong Canadian tax knowledge) Real estate / development tax experience Familiarity with holdco structures, intercompany loans, and shareholder agreements Experience advising on corporate profit extraction strategies This is an advisory/second-opinion engagement.
