CPA for Tax Compliance and Financial Oversight

NYC-based multichannel online art gallery seeks an experienced CPA for tax compliance, financial oversight, and strategic guidance. Our bookkeeper handles transaction coding, reconciliations, payroll monitoring, marketplace reconciliation, and monthly statements. Responsibilities include preparing and filing federal Form 1120, New York State, New York City, and applicable multistate corporate returns; calculating quarterly estimated payments; overseeing quarterly sales and use tax filings, marketplace-facilitator reporting, and state nexus; reviewing monthly financials, inventory and cost-of-goods accounting, fixed assets, and year-end adjustments; leading monthly business-health meetings; providing midyear and year-end tax planning; preparing 1099s; handling tax notices; and coordinating with our ROBS administrator on Form 5500, annual stock valuation, and plan compliance.
