CRE Marketing Production Manager

We're a real estate research firm running a national marketing production program for a large commercial property portfolio, roughly 150 sites. We need a contract production manager to coordinate vendors, produce marketing documents using AI tools, and track the budget from kickoff through market launch. Fixed 60-day engagement starting October 1 with a short cleanup tail. Not ongoing. Hours peak at 20 to 25 per week in the first month. What you'll do: Produce four marketing documents using AI-assisted workflows: a portfolio book (50 to 80 pages), a standalone asset book (25 to 40 pages), a short teaser, and a data appendix. Content and data are provided. You build the documents, handle layout and formatting, iterate with AI tools, and deliver print-ready files at an institutional quality level. Manage three production vendors (photography/drone network, data preparation vendor, print) across overlapping timelines. You own the POs, and the delivery schedule. Schedule and track field photography across 25 states, batched by priority and geography. Every invoice logged, every receipt filed, spend reconciled weekly. Deliver a weekly one-page status update and run a 30-minute weekly call with the principal. You're a fit if: You produce professional documents and marketing materials using AI tools as your primary workflow. If your instinct is to open InDesign or hire a freelance designer, this is the wrong role. You've managed multi-vendor production programs with hard deadlines. You can look at a finished document and tell whether it reads as institutional or amateur, and you know how to close the gap. You're comfortable with confidential work and don't need to know the full picture to do yours well.
