On-Camera Host / Presenter — Discovery & Mystery YouTube Channel

We are launching a new YouTube channel focused on mysteries, unexplained discoveries, archaeology, ancient history, strange events, science, and fascinating real-world investigations. We already operate successful faceless YouTube channels using voice-over narration. For this new channel, we want to introduce a recognizable on-camera host who can build a stronger relationship with the audience and become the face and voice of the channel. We are looking for a confident, engaging presenter who can deliver mysterious, fascinating, and documentary-style stories with authority, emotion, and natural storytelling. The Role You will receive a completed script for each video. Your responsibility will be to record the full script while appearing on camera. Our videos are normally 20–30 minutes long, and we typically publish one video per day. Your voice will be used throughout the full video, while selected sections of your on-camera footage will be incorporated by our editing team. Topics can include: Ancient mysteries and archaeological discoveries Lost civilizations and hidden history Unexplained events and strange discoveries Religious and historical mysteries Space and scientific mysteries Hiddn codes, ancient texts, artifacts, and monuments Famous mysteries that remain unsolved New discoveries that challenge what we thought we knew This is a remote, potentially long-term position for someone who can deliver consistently and meet regular deadlines. What We Are Looking For Male presenter with a natural, clear English accent — American, British, Canadian, Australian, or another native/fluent English accent are welcome On-camera appearance suitable for approximately a 30–50-year-old documentary presenter Strong, confident, and authoritative camera presence Natural storytelling ability Excellent pronunciation and communication skills Comfortable recording 20–30-minute scripted videos Able to create curiosity, suspense, tension, and emotion while telling a story Comfortable discussing mysterious, controversial, historical, scientific, and unexplained topics Able to sound natural rather than simply reading from a script Strong facial expressions and body language Comfortable presenting serious topics while maintaining audience engagement Strong work ethic and reliable communication Able to complete recordings within agreed deadlines Interested in developing a recognizable, long-term hosting role The ideal presenter should feel like someone viewers would trust, follow, and want to hear the next story from. Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome. Selection will be based on voice, delivery, professionalism, storytelling ability, on-camera presence, and suitability for the channel's presentation style. Recording Requirements You will record remotely using your own equipment and recording space. You must have: A good-quality camera capable of recording clear HD video A professional or high-quality microphone Clean audio without echo or distracting background noise Good lighting A simple, clean background suitable for a documentary, discovery, or mystery channel A stable recording setup with the camera positioned at eye level A complicated studio is not required. A professional home office, study, or clean documentary/news-style background is perfectly suitable. Deliverables For each assigned video, you will provide: Full video recording of the completed script Clean, synchronized audio and video Complete unedited recording in the requested file format Any necessary corrections where lines were misread or recorded incorrectly Delivery within the agreed deadline Each completed recording will normally be approximately 20–30 minutes.
