Canva Ad Designer — Follow a Detailed Spec, Ongoing Volume

Summary

What this job is; I run paid social advertising for clients in regulated industries. I need a designer to build ad creative from detailed spec sheets. For every job I send you a spec sheet. It tells you: - The exact text to use, and the exact order it goes in - The exact file sizes - A list of things you must not include - 5 checks to run before you send the files Your job is to build the designs and follow the spec sheet. This is production work, not creative direction. The strategy and the concept are already decided. I need someone who reads a document carefully and builds exactly what it says, quickly, again and again. What you will make; - Usually 3 designs per job, in 3 sizes each - Simple layouts. Large headline text, one photo or graphic, a few supporting lines, and a small required line at the bottom. - Different campaigns use different formats. You will get a new spec sheet each time. - Canva is fine. Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator or Affinity are also fine. I do not care which tool you use. Once you know a format, 3 designs in one size should take about 2 hours. Volume; Several campaigns running at once, across different offers. A few jobs a month now, growing. If this works well it becomes steady, ongoing work. What I actually need from you; 1. You read carefully. This is the most important thing on this job. The spec sheet is short. Everything you need is in it. If you skip a section, the work comes back. 2. You check your own work before sending. Every spec sheet ends with 5 checks. Run them. Tell me the results when you send the files. 3. You are fast. The layouts are simple. Nothing complicated. But they have to be right. 4. You can set text in a language you do not speak. Some campaigns run in Spanish. I give you the exact text and you copy it exactly. Spanish uses accent marks like Á É Í Ó Ú Ñ and an upside-down question mark ¿ at the start of a question. You must check that your font can display these characters. If one accent is missing, the file cannot be used. 5. You ask questions before you start, not after. If something in the spec sheet is unclear, or if it seems to contradict something else, ask me first. I would much rather answer a question than get work back that has to be rebuilt. What I do not need; - I am not looking for a creative partner or someone to improve the concept - No animation, no 3D, no heavy effects - No changes to the copy. The text is fixed and cannot be edited. Important; Some clients operate in regulated industries. Certain elements on these ads are legally required. They cannot be moved, resized, or removed, no matter how the layout looks. If the spec sheet says something is required, it is required. You will be asked to sign an NDA. Client names, campaign details and files are confidential and cannot be shown in your portfolio. How this starts; Paid test project first. One spec sheet, 3 designs, fixed fee. If it goes well, we set up ongoing work. To apply; Please answer these in your proposal: 1. Start your message with the word BLUEPRINT so I know you read this post. 2. What tool will you use? 3. Show me 2 or 3 examples where you built something to someone else's exact specification. Template work, brand guideline work, localized ad sets. I care about this far more than your most creative piece. Note: Please do not send links to a portfolio. If you do, these will be promptly ignored. I want you to attach the specific sample images. 4. Have you ever set type in a language you do not speak? If yes, how did you check it was correct? I read every proposal. Proposals that do not start with BLUEPRINT will not be read.
