# Cartoon Illustrator / T-Shirt Graphic Designer Needed to Refine Existing Contractor Brand Designs ## Project Description We are looking for a **skilled cartoon illustrator / graphic designer** to professionally redraw and clean up several existing T-shirt concepts for our company, **Trusted Hammer**. We already have the concepts, branding, logos, wording, and general layouts developed. Some of the current artwork was created as concept artwork and needs to be **professionally recreated, cleaned up, and prepared for actual apparel printing**. This is **not a logo-design project** and we are not looking for someone to completely redesign our brand. The right designer should be able to take our existing reference images and turn them into polished, intentional-looking illustrations that look like they were created by a professional commercial illustrator rather than generated or assembled from different sources. ## What We Need The designer will: * Review our existing T-shirt concepts and reference artwork * Professionally redraw cartoon-style characters and illustrations * Correct anatomy, hands, tools, clothing, facial expressions, proportions, and other inconsistencies * Clean up lines, edges, shadows, highlights, and small details * Improve composition and visual balance * Make typography and artwork work together properly * Keep the artwork consistent with the Trusted Hammer brand * Maintain our existing logo accurately rather than modifying or recreating it * Simplify artwork where necessary so it prints well on shirts * Prepare final artwork for screen printing, DTF, DTG, and similar apparel-production methods ## Brand Style Trusted Hammer is a residential and commercial property-service/construction brand. Our primary brand colors are: * Red * Dark/navy blue * White We want the T-shirts to have a **strong, recognizable, commercial cartoon/illustration style** while still looking like they belong to a professional company. We do **not** want generic clip art, Canva-style graphics, or overly childish cartoon artwork. Think more along the lines of: **professional mascot illustration + workwear graphic + contractor brand** The artwork needs to work on an actual employee/customer T-shirt, not just look good as a digital image. ## Important Our Trusted Hammer logo is already established. **Do not redesign, reinterpret, or change the logo.** Where the logo is incorporated into a design, it must remain accurate to the provided original artwork. ## Deliverables For each approved design, we will need: * Editable vector source file * Adobe Illustrator / EPS / SVG where appropriate * High-resolution transparent PNG * Print-ready version * Properly separated artwork/layers where practical * Fonts outlined or included as appropriate * Full commercial usage rights transferred upon payment Final artwork should be suitable for sending directly to an apparel printer. ## Ideal Designer We are specifically interested in someone with experience in: * Cartoon illustration * Mascot illustration * T-shirt/apparel graphics * Vector illustration * Commercial brand illustration * Contractor, automotive, workwear, sports, or similar bold graphic styles **Strong drawing/illustration skills are more important than general graphic-design experience.** ## When Applying Please send: 1. Generic proposals without relevant illustration examples will not be considered. ## Project Structure We would like to begin with **one design as a paid test project**. If the first design is successful, we have multiple additional Trusted Hammer T-shirt concepts that we would like the same designer to complete so the entire collection maintains a consistent illustration style. This could become ongoing design work as the Trusted Hammer brand expands.
