Certified Mandarin Interpreter, Immigration Evaluation

Seeking a certified Mandarin interpreter for approximately 60 to 90 minutes on Friday, August 14, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM Pacific Time (4:00 PM Eastern). I am a licensed clinician conducting a three hour forensic psychosocial evaluation with a petitioner filing an I-360 self-petition with USCIS. The resulting report will be submitted as clinical evidence in an immigration case, so accuracy and neutrality are essential. The petitioner has functional conversational English. The standardized mental health instruments administered during the session, including the PHQ-9 and GAD-7, require accurate consecutive interpretation into Mandarin to ensure the items are fully understood and the responses are reliable. Your role is to render items and responses faithfully, without paraphrasing, coaching, or explaining, and to flag any point where meaning is ambiguous or does not carry cleanly between languages. Requirements. Please include the following in your proposal: Your interpreting credential, issuing body, and credential or registry number. State court certification, NBCMI, CCHI, or federal certification preferred. Experience with legal, court, or medical consecutive interpreting. Confirmation of availability for the full window on Friday. Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and a written attestation of your competency in both languages and the accuracy and completeness of your interpretation, which will be referenced in the evaluation report.
