2D Character Animator for Cute Character Brand

We're looking for a talented 2D Animator to help bring our original character brand to life through short-form animated content. Our character is a cute, wholesome character brand centered around joy, kindness, connection, and giving. We're building the brand primarily through organic social content and are looking for an animator who can help turn our character into someone people genuinely fall in love with. You'll work closely with our creative team to produce short, expressive animations primarily for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms. What you'll help with: Animate Teng and other characters in 2D Create short-form animations for social media Bring personality and emotion to characters through movement and expressions Work from existing character designs, storyboards, references, and creative direction Adapt proven social content concepts into ou character's world Help develop recurring animation styles and formats Maintain consistent character design and brand style Collaborate with our team on revisions and new ideas We're looking for someone who: Has strong 2D character animation skills Understands cute, expressive, personality-driven animation Can create polished animation efficiently for social media Has excellent attention to character consistency Takes direction and feedback well Communicates reliably Can work consistently each week Is interested in a long-term relationship, not just a one-off project Experience with cute/kawaii characters, mascot brands, animated shorts, stickers/emotes, or character IP is a major plus.
