Chief Architect Rendering Specialist | Long-Term Opportunity with Luxury Interior Design Firm Birdy Design Studio is a luxury residential interior design firm seeking a talented Chief Architect Rendering Specialist to become an extension of our team. We are not looking for someone to create one-off renderings—we're looking for a long-term partner who can consistently bring our designs to life through beautiful, photorealistic visualizations. About the Role Our team creates the architectural 2D layout and design direction in Chief Architect. Your role is to transform those models into presentation-quality interiors by accurately incorporating our specified furnishings, lighting, finishes, and materials. A key responsibility is building and maintaining Birdy Design Studio's custom library of high-quality 3D models (blocks) for the luxury products we specify. You'll create realistic 3D assets from manufacturer specification sheets, dimensions, and reference images, helping us produce increasingly accurate client presentations while expanding our proprietary design library. For each project, we'll provide: • Chief Architect 2D model • Furniture specification sheets • Lighting specifications • Cabinet finishes • Paint colors • Flooring selections • Plumbing fixtures • Decorative accessories and artwork • Inspiration images and design direction Your responsibility is to accurately recreate our designs using the products we've selected, develop custom 3D blocks when needed, apply realistic materials and finishes, style the space, and produce presentation-quality renderings suitable for client presentations. What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who: • Is highly proficient in Chief Architect X17 • Has experience creating or modifying custom 3D furniture and product models • Can build accurate 3D blocks from manufacturer specification sheets, dimensions, and reference photography • Creates exceptional photorealistic interior renderings • Has a strong eye for interior design, scale, lighting, materials, and composition • Can accurately recreate specified furnishings and finishes—not simply substitute similar library items • Understands luxury residential interiors and the importance of proportion, styling, and detail • Is detail-oriented and follows specifications carefully • Communicates clearly and consistently meets deadlines • Is interested in building a long-term working relationship • Has experience working directly with interior designers and translating specification sheets into highly accurate, presentation-quality interiors Typical Workflow 1. Receive our Chief Architect model. 2. Review specification sheets, reference images, and design notes. 3. Create custom 3D blocks for products not available in the Chief Architect library. 4. Replace placeholder items with our specified furnishings, lighting, cabinetry, finishes, accessories, artwork, and décor. 5. Apply realistic materials, textures, lighting, and styling to create presentation-quality interiors. Deliverables • An updated, fully editable Chief Architect project file with all custom 3D models, materials, and finishes incorporated, allowing our team to continue editing and present the design to clients. • Revisions based on client feedback. We are specifically looking for someone who can create accurate custom 3D models and photorealistic renderings for luxury residential interiors. We will begin with a paid test project.
