Chief of Staff to the CFO (Growth Equity & Strategic Projects)

We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and highly organized Part-Time Assistant / Chief of Staff to the CFO to join our team on a long-term basis. In this role, you will work directly alongside our CEO and CFO to drive critical initiatives—starting with building a high-stakes presentation deck for a Growth Equity fundraise, as well as supporting ongoing financial and operational business projects. If you excel at taking complex information, structuring it into clear narratives, and keeping multi-faceted projects moving forward independently, this is a strong fit. Key Responsibilities Fundraising & Deck Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to organize financial/operational data and build clear, polished presentation decks for growth equity investors. CFO & CEO Support: Function as a lightweight Chief of Staff, driving visibility, organizing executive workflows, and tracking action items across business initiatives. Financial & Data Tasks: Handle light financial modeling, develop financial processes, data aggregation, market research, and report generation to support strategic decision-making. Project Management: Manage one-off business projects end-to-end, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders stay aligned. Executive Communication: Synthesize complex updates into crisp, well-structured summaries for external partners and internal leadership. Required Qualifications & Skills Financial Acumen: Prior experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or startup operations. Presentation Design & Storytelling: Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote, with an ability to translate raw data into compelling visual narratives. Proactive Ownership: Comfort operating with high autonomy, ambiguity, and minimal oversight. Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English skills. Attention to Detail: High standard for accuracy in numbers, formatting, and executive-level deliverables. Work Details Engagement Type: Part-Time (approx. 10–20 hours/week to start, with potential to scale). Duration: Long-term. Location/Time Zone: Remote (Flexible, but require a 2–3 hour daily overlap with standard U.S. business hours for syncs).
