Children’s Book Illustrator Needed for One Character

Hi! I’m looking for an illustrator to create one single-page character illustration for a children’s picture book I’m currently developing. The character is already planned out, and I’ll provide the character description along with some visual references to help communicate the look and personality I have in mind. The references are mainly for direction, so I’m open to the illustrator adding their own creative touch. I’m looking for a soft, warm, whimsical children’s book style, preferably something with a hand-drawn or watercolor feel. I like expressive characters, gentle textures, and artwork that feels organic and storybook-like rather than overly polished or 3D. For this initial job, I only need one finished illustration. Character appearance and small details are important because the character may be used again in future illustrations. The budget for this first illustration is $10 fixed price.
