Children's Book Illustrator for 32-Page Story

I’m looking for a talented children’s book illustrator to create hand-drawn artwork for a 32-page story aimed at children aged 3–7. The book features a magical creature who helps children, and I want illustrations that are engaging, expressive, and perfectly matched to the text. The work should be entirely human-made, with no AI-generated elements. I’m seeking someone who can bring the story to life with warm, imaginative visuals that appeal to young readers. What I am looking for: - A skilled illustrator with experience in children’s books - A whimsical / expressive / vibrant art style (describe your ideal style) - Strong ability to convey emotions and storytelling through illustrations - Final files in high-resolution (300dpi, CMYK) PNG or JPEG format - Familiarity with print formatting, trim size, and bleed requirements (preferred) Scope of Work: - 32 full-page illustrations + cover design - Character and scene development based on my manuscript - 2 rounds of revisions included - Final files delivered in print-ready format Payment & Copyright Terms: - This is a one-time payment for hire, with no additional payments after project completion. (There could be future projects based on same character that can be negotiated). - The illustrator will retain Copyright and Moral Rights under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). - The author (me) will receive an exclusive license to use the illustrations for the book and related marketing without limitation.
