Children’s Educational Product Designer/Illustrator Needed for SEL & Learning Product Collection

About the Project I am developing the first product collection for a new learning and wellness studio focused on creating culturally responsive learning experiences and wellness resources. Our first collection is designed for children and focuses on social-emotional learning, emotional literacy, confidence, and positive learning experiences. Much of the foundational work has already been completed. I have developed the product concepts, written the core content, created the characters and preliminary artwork, established the emotion categories, and designed initial versions of the SEL flashcards. I am not looking for someone to start from scratch or rebrand the products. I am looking for a talented children's educational product designer/illustrator who can refine what I have created, establish a polished and cohesive visual system, and extend that look and feel across our Phase 1 products. Deliverables Final project should include: Professionally refined complete flashcard collection Reusable flashcard front/back templates 4 emotion posters 1 mini SEL coloring/activity booklet (approximately 8 interior pages + cover) 4 reading bookmarks 2–4 sticker sheets Editable Canva files/templates High-resolution print-ready PDFs Individual high-resolution PNG/JPG files where appropriate Consistent typography, colors, spacing, icons, and visual hierarchy across the collection Basic documentation of fonts, colors, dimensions, and any third-party design assets used Final materials should be prepared with commercial printing in mind, including appropriate resolution, bleed, trim and safe areas where applicable. Ideal Candidate I am especially interested in designers who have experience with: Children's educational products • SEL resources • Children's publishing • Activity/coloring books • Flashcards/card decks • Classroom materials • Print products • Canva Pro • Illustration/line-art adaptation Experience preparing children's products for commercial printing is strongly preferred. This project requires more than simply arranging elements in Canva. I am looking for someone with a strong understanding of graphic design, typography, visual hierarchy, consistency, children's product design, and print production.
