Children’s Knitwear Designer Needed for Cotton Sweater + Tech Pack

I’m developing a new children’s clothing brand, focused on simple, timeless, sensory-friendly clothing made from at least 75% cotton. For this first project, I’m looking for an experienced children’s knitwear/apparel designer to help develop ONE hero product: a children’s knit sweater. Concept: * Cream/off-white knit sweater * Single oversized, sophisticated fish motif on the front * Timeless, elevated aesthetic — not cartoonish * Ideally 100% cotton; minimum 75% cotton * Soft and comfortable against the skin * Tag-free / sensory-conscious construction * Intended size range: 2T–8 I already have visual concept images/moodboards showing the direction I’m envisioning. What I need: * Help refining the sweater design for production * Technical flats/specifications * Guidance on appropriate cotton yarn, knit construction/gauge, and sensory-friendly finishing * Factory-ready tech pack * Sizing/specifications suitable for eventual production in sizes 2T–8 * Artwork placement/specifications for the fish motif Experience with children’s apparel and knitwear production is strongly preferred. This is the first product for the brand. If it goes well, I plan to develop additional pieces and would love to potentially continue working with the same designer. Please include an estimated number of hours or total project cost for completing the sweater design and factory-ready tech pack. I’d also love to know whether you can assist with manufacturer communication and sample revisions later in the development process.
