Children's Video Editor / 2D Animator

I’m looking for a creative video editor/motion graphics animator to help bring a children’s yoga series to life. The original videos feature a mother and daughter practicing yoga together and were professionally created as a seven-part children’s wellbeing/yoga series. The footage is already fully filmed and edited, with each class approximately 20 minutes long. I’d now like to enhance the videos with fun, gentle 2D animation and educational visual elements that help children connect the yoga poses and storytelling with what they’re seeing. For example: * When we practice Dolphin Pose, an animated dolphin might appear or swim across the screen. * When we talk about reaching the end of the rainbow, a rainbow could appear above us. * During Boat Pose, gentle animated water or a little boat could appear. * Breathing exercises could include simple visual animation showing expansion and contraction. * Stars, clouds, flowers, butterflies, sunshine, sparkles or other illustrated elements could occasionally bring the story to life. * Pose names or simple educational words could appear in a playful children’s style. The goal is not to make the video loud, frantic or overly stimulating. I’d like it to feel warm, magical, educational and imaginative — almost as though a beautiful illustrated children’s book is gently coming to life around us. The first video is approximately 21 minutes long. I’d like to begin with this as a pilot. If we love the result, there are six additional classes in the series. The footage is relatively simple and filmed with a stationary camera, with plenty of open space around us for animation and graphics. I’m looking for someone with experience in: * Children’s educational content * 2D animation / motion graphics * Adobe After Effects or similar * Compositing animation over existing footage * Creating tasteful, engaging visual effects * Ideally children’s YouTube, educational or wellness content Please send examples of children’s content or similar animation work you’ve created. I’d also be happy to begin with a short sample section from the video before commissioning the full 21-minute edit.
