Job Title Cinematic Video Editor / Motion Designer Wanted: Faceless Documentary (Fern & MagnatesMedia Style) – Script, VO, & Blueprint Provided Job Description About the Role We are launching a high-quality, faceless YouTube channel focused on Finance, Explanatory Documentaries, and Historical True Crime. We are looking for a reliable, highly skilled video editor and motion designer for a long-term collaboration. We aim to replicate the dark, immersive, high-retention cinematic style of channels like MagnatesMedia, Fern, and Lemmino. If you love storytelling through smooth camera movements, 3D space editing, and deep sound design, this is the role for you. What You Will Receive From Us We do 50% of the heavy lifting for you. For every project, you will be provided with: A fully finalized, professional Voiceover (VO) track. A complete Script synchronized with the audio. A detailed Scene-by-Scene Prompt Blueprint outlining exactly what visuals, B-roll, maps, or data graphics should appear on screen for every single sentence. Your Responsibilities Assemble and edit long-form videos (20–25 minutes long) based on the provided visual blueprint. Manipulate flat historical assets using 2.5D/3D parallax effects, custom camera panning, and multi-layer depth to create cinematic scenes. Apply clean kinetic typography, smooth asset transitions, textures, and rich sound design (SFX) to maximize viewer retention. Deliver 2 high-quality videos per month while strictly adhering to deadlines. Provide a brief progress update every 3–4 days on active projects (a quick message is fine — we just want to avoid radio silence). Requirements Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects paired with Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve). Strong understanding of After Effects 3D space, Z-axis camera tracking, and motion graphics. (Full 3D software experience like Blender or Cinema 4D is a plus, but not required.) Not an AE-level motion designer but a strong Premiere/Resolve editor? Experience using AI generation tools (Midjourney, Leonardo, Runway, etc.) to creatively generate historical scenes or conceptual art when standard stock footage is unavailable. Important: any AI-generated depiction of a real person must remain stylized/non-photorealistic — no likeness that could be mistaken for an actual identifiable individual. This is a legal/editorial requirement, not a style preference. A stable, high-speed internet connection for downloading/uploading large video projects. Please note: we are finalizing our stock footage setup. Mention in your application if you have your own active subscription to Envato Elements, Storyblocks, or Motion Array. Compensation & Budget Structure Rate: €8.00 per finished minute of video, no cap on video length. Minimum per video: €100 flat (applies to any video under 12.5 minutes). Example: a 25-minute video = €200. A 22-minute video = €176. A 10-minute video = €100 (minimum applies). Guaranteed monthly volume: 2 videos/month, averaging 20–25 minutes each (~€400/month). Revisions: up to 2 rounds of revisions per video, covering fixes where the blueprint wasn't followed. Changes beyond that scope (e.g., you decide to redo a scene creatively) will be a small added fee, agreed on upfront. Pipeline: pass the paid trial → first full video assigned within 5–7 days → ongoing monthly work as long as quality and deadlines hold. As the channel grows and monetizes, bonuses and higher flat rates will be introduced.
