Cinematic Video Editor for Documentary Style Videos

We’re looking for a cinematic video editor to help shape the next chapter of our creative journey. Our current focus is documentary-style videos for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, blending cinematic storytelling with authentic, behind-the-scenes moments. Right now, we’re producing about one video per month, but the goal is to ramp up to more frequent, high-quality releases as we build momentum. The ideal candidate: Has a keen eye for story structure, pacing, and emotional rhythm Is skilled in sound design and color grading to create a polished, cinematic feel Brings creative ideas to elevate raw footage into narratives that feel personal, powerful, and shareable Understands how to cut for different platforms (YouTube long-form, Instagram Reels, TikTok) while keeping the brand style consistent This is a long-term opportunity: we’re looking for someone to grow with us as output increases, helping to define the evolving visual language of our project. We’ll need to see examples of cinematic edits that showcase your ability to bring story, emotion, and artistry together.
