I’m looking for someone who understands wedding storytelling and can take raw footage and turn it into something that feels romantic, luxurious, emotional, cinematic, and intentional, while still allowing the fun and genuine moments of the wedding day to come through. This is not just a footage-cutting job. I want someone who can tell a story through the edit. Editing Expectations You will be responsible for: * Reviewing all provided wedding footage * Selecting the strongest and most meaningful clips * Creating a cohesive story from the footage * Building an approximately 7-minute highlight film * Incorporating meaningful vows, speeches, letters, or natural audio when appropriate * Syncing and mixing audio cleanly * Choosing music that fits the emotion and pacing of the film * Creating intentional emotional builds and releases * Using natural sound when it adds to the story * Creating smooth, professional transitions * Color correcting and grading the footage * Maintaining true-to-life skin tones * Keeping whites clean and natural * Avoiding excessive orange, yellow, magenta, or overly stylized skin tones * Avoiding an overly HDR or artificial look * Making sure the final film feels polished and professional Storytelling I want the film to have a beginning, middle, and end. The goal is to make viewers feel something. I want the edit to capture the emotion of the wedding while also including the personality of the couple and the fun moments throughout the day. Think: romantic → emotional → anticipation → ceremony → celebration → intimate/emotional ending The exact structure can vary depending on the wedding and footage available. IMPORTANT — Portfolio Required You MUST provide examples of wedding films that are similar to the style described above. Please do not apply with only general video-editing work.
