Click-to-call web app on top of an existing Google Sheet (Apps Script or AppSheet)

Yes, post it. Two conversations in parallel costs you nothing, and the responses will tell you a lot about who actually knows this. And asking for alternatives is smart — I've been wrong enough tonight that someone who does this daily may see a simpler path than AppSheet or Apps Script. Here it is: **Title:** Click-to-call web app on top of an existing Google Sheet (Apps Script or AppSheet) I have a Google Sheets database of property owners and I need a simple calling layer built on top of it. What I need it to do: Each row is a property, with an owner's name and several phone number columns — one Confirmed Phone, several unconfirmed Phone columns, and one Wrong number column that holds multiple numbers in a single cell, comma separated. I want to open a page, see an owner and their numbers, and click or tap a number to dial it. On my Mac that means a tel: link handing off to FaceTime, which is already set up to place cellular calls through my iPhone on my own number. On my iPhone it should open the dialer directly. Same page, both devices. I'd also like buttons to record the outcome: move the number I just called into Confirmed Phone, or append it to the Wrong number cell. No answer or voicemail leaves it where it is. If those buttons prove impractical, the dialing is the priority — I can move numbers between columns myself. Requirements: - The Google Sheet stays the source of truth. Everything reads and writes back to the existing columns. - No new columns added to the sheet. No status or call-result columns. - Must work in a desktop browser and on iPhone. - I'm not technical, so I need it simple to use and simple to hand off. A note on the data: headers are on row 3, with merged banner rows above them, and the sheet has multiple tabs. I'd prefer not to restructure it unless there's no way around it. I've looked at Google AppSheet and a custom Apps Script web app. I don't have a preference. If you see a better or simpler approach, please tell me — I'd rather hear it now. In your proposal, please tell me which approach you'd take and why, and share an example of something similar you've built on top of Google Sheets.
