Client Success / Project Coordinator for a Remote Web Development Studio

We're a distributed web design and development studio seeking a reliable, articulate coordinator to serve as the main point of contact for our clients. This is a communication-first role — you'll be the bridge between what clients need and what our production team builds. You'll join client calls, translate business requests into clear technical briefs, track progress, and keep everyone aligned. You don't need to write code, but candidates with hands-on web development, technical support, or software project experience will be prioritized*- — you should be able to speak fluently about websites, apps, APIs, and general dev workflows without needing everything explained to you. This starts as a part-time contract with room to grow into a full-time Project Management role for the right person. Must be based in the U.S. and available during Central or Eastern business hours. What You'll Do - Join client meetings and lead the conversation when needed - Translate verbal feedback into written specs and task lists - Chase down outstanding approvals, assets, or client decisions - Relay priorities to designers and developers in clear, technically accurate language - Send clients regular, jargon-free status updates - Flag risks or delays before they become problems - Juggle multiple active client accounts without dropping details - Uphold a polished, professional tone in every client touchpoint Must-Haves - Based in the United States - Prior experience in web development, technical support, QA, or a related technical role — strongly preferred - Native or near-native English, written and spoken - Confident on video calls - Available Central or Eastern business hours - Excellent written communication — can turn a rambling call into a tight action list - Self-starter who doesn't need hand-holding Direct PM experience is a plus but not mandatory. However, candidates with a technical background (web development, CMS platforms, hosting, APIs, or QA/bug tracking) will be given priority over general coordination or support backgrounds. Nice-to-Haves - Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, hosting, APIs, or QA/bug tracking - Experience scoping requirements for digital or software projects - Comfort using AI tools (notes, docs, task tracking) - Prior experience in a white-label or agency-partner setting Some engagements are delivered under a partner agency's brand — you'll need to be comfortable operating under someone else's name, following their tone/style guide, and never soliciting clients for outside work.
