Cloud Operations Engineer – Azure & AWS

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in both Microsoft Azure and AWS to support enterprise production environments. This is an L3 infrastructure support role involving approximately 300 virtual servers, Linux and Windows administration, incident troubleshooting, server patching, and AKS/Kubernetes cluster patching and upgrades. The role supports global customers and requires strong operational and troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities • Provide L3 infrastructure support across Azure and AWS environments. • Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers. • Manage incidents, service requests, and infrastructure issues across ~300 virtual servers. • Perform regular server patching, maintenance, and health checks. • Perform AKS/Kubernetes cluster patching and upgrades and validate cluster health. • Troubleshoot production infrastructure issues and coordinate with cloud/infrastructure teams. • Monitor availability, performance, backups, and overall infrastructure health. • Follow ITIL-based incident, problem, and change-management processes. • Support enterprise SAP infrastructure hosted on Azure where required. • Maintain operational documentation and follow established runbooks. Must-Have Skills • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AND AWS. • Strong Linux and Windows Server L3 administration experience. • Experience supporting production cloud infrastructure. • Hands-on experience with AKS/Kubernetes patching and cluster upgrades. • Strong incident troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Experience with server patching and infrastructure maintenance. • Knowledge of ITIL-based incident and change-management processes. Preferred • Azure Landing Zones. • Experience with Splunk, CheckMK, Qualys, or Avantra. • PowerShell or Bash scripting. • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
