Cold Calling Expert

We're a South Florida software company that builds AI-powered websites and web apps for local small businesses — contractors, salons, restaurants, med spas, service companies. We're looking for an experienced cold caller to turn our pre-researched lead lists into booked meetings. This is not a "dial from the phone book" gig. You'll work from lists we prepare for you where every business has already been researched: we verify whether their website is up, whether it's readable by AI tools like ChatGPT (which their customers increasingly use to find businesses), and whether AI recommends them or their competitors when asked "who's the best [trade] near me." Many of the businesses you'll call have great reviews but a dead website — or no website at all. You'll open every call with a specific, true, verified finding about their business, not a generic pitch. What we provide: - Call lists with phone numbers, per-business findings, and a "why they need us" line for each row - A tested call script with objection handling (you're welcome to improve it — we want your expertise) - A shared tracking sheet for outcomes - Fast email follow-up: when a prospect says "send me an email," we send a personalized one the same day What you'll do: - 50–100 dials/day during local business hours (Eastern Time — trades answer 7:30–9am and 4–5:30pm) - Book 15-minute meetings onto our calendar (the founder runs the meetings — you just book them) - Log every call outcome in the tracker - Tell us what's working: which industries pick up, which openers land, what objections repeat Requirements: - Proven B2B cold-calling experience with small/local businesses (not enterprise SDR work — the owner picks up the phone here) - Fluent, natural conversational English - Comfortable being told "no" 40 times a day - Able to call US Eastern hours - Your own reliable calling setup (or tell us what you use) Compensation: hourly rate + a bonus per attended meeting.
