I am looking for a licensed employment attorney to review approximately 19 HR guides/templates, each about 2–3 pages (a few are a bit longer), developed for my HR consulting business. This is a focused compliance/risk review of existing materials—not a rewrite or document-creation project. About the materials: The materials are designed for small private businesses in Colorado with 50 or fewer employees and provide simple, practical HR guidance and templates. I have already completed a substantial first-pass HR/compliance review. I need an experienced employment attorney as a final legal quality-control review to identify anything important I may have missed. Please review for: Federal and Colorado employment-law compliance Material inaccuracies, outdated requirements, omissions, or overly broad statements Legal requirements incorrectly presented as HR best practices (or vice versa) Employee-facing language that creates unnecessary risk Issues that could create liability for my clients or my consulting business Whether the disclaimers and overall wording appropriately establish that these are general HR guidance—not legal advice Please tell me directly if any document is too risky to distribute without substantial revision. Preferred deliverable For each document: 🔴 Must Fix – material legal/compliance issue or significant risk 🟡 Recommended – important clarification/risk reduction 🟢 No Significant Concern – generally appropriate as written Suggested replacement language for important corrections is appreciated. I am not looking for a lengthy legal memo or exhaustive sentence-by-sentence audit. I want a practical, high-level review focused on material compliance issues and significant risk. Attorney qualifications — REQUIRED Must be a licensed attorney and able to verify current bar status. Strong preference for an attorney licensed in Colorado with current Colorado employment-law experience. If not Colorado-licensed, substantial experience with Colorado employment law applicable to private employers is required. Please provide: State(s) licensed + bar number Years practicing employment law Colorado employment-law experience Experience advising small/private employers Materials will be available immediately. Desired turnaround is 2–3 weeks. I understand this budget is for a focused compliance/risk review, not a comprehensive legal opinion or rewrite.
