Colorist for DaVinci Resolve

Title: DaVinci Resolve Colorist & Finishing Artist for Independent Feature Film (Cloud Collaboration) Project Type: Contract / Short-Term Project Location: Remote Software Required: DaVinci Resolve Studio with Cloud Collaboration Experience Project Overview Seeking an experienced DaVinci Resolve Colorist to join my post-production team for an independent feature film. This is a project-based contract position that will continue through final picture lock and delivery of the fully graded feature. The project is being managed using DaVinci Resolve Cloud Collaboration, so applicants must be comfortable working within a collaborative Resolve workflow and coordinating with editors, producers, and directors remotely. Responsibilities Perform professional color correction and color grading for a feature-length narrative film Develop and maintain a consistent visual look across the entire film Match shots from multiple cameras, locations, and lighting conditions Create and apply show LUTs and grading workflows as needed Collaborate with the director and producers to achieve the desired visual style Deliver revisions based on creative feedback Additional VFX / Finishing Skills Required The ideal candidate should also have experience with: Removal of unwanted background objects Background cleanup and plate work Sky replacements and background replacements Wire, boom, and crew removal Beauty fixes and minor compositing Tracking and masking within DaVinci Resolve Green screen/keying work (if needed) General finishing and online conform tasks Qualifications Strong portfolio demonstrating narrative film color work Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve Studio Experience working on feature films, television, commercials, or independent projects Familiarity with Resolve Cloud Collaboration workflows Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines Experience with Resolve Fusion / Planar Tracker Deliverables Fully color-corrected and graded feature film Final approved master timeline Completion of agreed-upon cleanup and background replacement shots Delivery-ready project upon final approval Project Duration This is a short-term contract position that will remain active until the feature film has completed color grading and finishing.
