We are a growing e-commerce apparel brand specializing in premium officially licensed apparel in the United States. We are seeking a part-time Demand Planning & Logistics Manager to help us forecast demand, optimize inventory, and manage the flow of products from our manufacturers through Amazon AWD, FBA, and Multi-Channel Fulfillment as we begin migrating our in-house fulfillment to the Amazon AWD/MCF network. This is a role for someone who understands the inventory challenges of a growing apparel business—including seasonal demand, size-level forecasting, manufacturing lead times, product launches, and the need to balance in-stock availability against excess inventory. We are looking an individual who can build processes from scratch and eventually oversee and lead a broader team. Key Responsibilities Develop demand forecasts by product, design, license, size, and sales channel (website/amazon/wholesale) Translate forecasts into purchasing and production recommendations Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reports tracking inventory performance, establishing goals and tracking progress Build seasonal inventory plans around collegiate sports, holidays, product launches, and other apparel demand cycles Monitor inventory levels, sales velocity, weeks of supply, and projected stockout dates across a broad array of SKUs Recommend reorder quantities and timing based on manufacturing lead times, inbound transit times, and expected demand Account for size curves, product seasonality, new-product uncertainty, and differences between evergreen and event-driven products Help determine appropriate safety-stock and reorder-point levels Identify potential stockouts, excess inventory, and slow-moving products early Manage inventory allocation between Amazon AWD, FBA, and other fulfillment channels Plan and monitor AWD-to-FBA replenishment to support both Amazon sales and website orders fulfilled through Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment Track inbound shipments, receiving status, inventory discrepancies, and Amazon storage or capacity considerations Improve reporting, forecasting tools, and inventory-planning processes as the company grows Coordinate with ownership, overseas manufacturers, freight partners, and other vendors as needed Required Experience Direct experience managing inventory through Amazon AWD and FBA Familiarity with Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment and the inventory requirements needed to support off-Amazon orders Experience in demand planning, inventory planning, supply-chain management, or logistics for an e-commerce apparel brand Strong understanding of apparel seasonality, size-level demand, product launches, and seasonal purchasing cycles Experience planning around manufacturing lead times, production minimums, deposits, ocean or air freight, and inbound receiving timelines Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including forecasting models and inventory analysis Ability to turn sales and inventory data into clear, actionable purchasing recommendations Strong attention to detail and the ability to proactively identify inventory risks Preferred Qualifications Experience and deep understanding of licensed, collegiate, sports, or event-driven apparel Experience planning inventory across Shopify, Amazon, wholesale, and other sales channels Familiarity with inventory-planning or ERP software Experience working with rapidly growing brands that have limited historical data Understanding of Amazon storage fees, capacity limits, replenishment settings, and aged-inventory considerations
