E-Commerce Assistant / Merchandiser Steel City Brand — Remote (Part-Time) The Role Steel City Brand is looking for a highly detail-oriented E-Commerce Assistant / Merchandiser to support daily website merchandising, product setup, and Shopify execution. This role is responsible for ensuring products are accurately built, visually consistent, and launch-ready across the site. You will help maintain a clean, elevated, and conversion-focused customer experience while supporting ongoing product launches and site updates. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, visually aware, and takes pride in clean execution. Core Responsibilities Product Setup & PDP Execution * Build and maintain products in Shopify * Upload, organize, and QA PDP photography * Ensure product details, sizing, pricing, and descriptions are accurate * Format PDPs consistently across the site * Catch and correct missing information, formatting issues, or visual inconsistencies Site Merchandising * Merchandise collections and product assortments intentionally * Maintain homepage, navigation, and collection organization * Update product sorting and visibility based on launches and inventory * Ensure the website remains visually clean and easy to shop E-Commerce QA & Maintenance * Monitor the site for errors and inconsistencies * Fix broken links, incorrect variants, missing imagery, or tagging issues * QA launches, promotions, and product updates before going live * Help maintain overall site organization and accuracy Who This Role Is For * Extremely detail-oriented and organized * Comfortable working inside Shopify daily * Visually aware and able to maintain consistency * Reliable, proactive, and process-driven * Someone who enjoys operational execution and problem-solving Required Skills & Experience * Experience working in Shopify * Strong organizational and QA skills * Basic photo editing/cropping ability * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines * Strong communication and follow-through Nice to Have * Apparel or fashion e-commerce experience * Merchandising or inventory awareness * Experience supporting a DTC brand Logistics * Title: E-Commerce Assistant / Merchandiser * Type: Part-Time * Location: Remote
